What is nitrile gloves?

2022 07/18

Nitrile gloves are safety protective gloves made of nitrile rubber material. They have excellent organic chemical resistance, good physical properties, anti-static properties and comfortable style. They are commonly used in hardware factories, It is used in medical inspection, food enterprises, hard work in housework, chemical plants, aquaculture, glass fiber reinforced plastic products and scientific research.

Nitrile gloves are a kind of vulcanized rubber gloves, but they are different from general vulcanized rubber gloves in terms of materials, properties and main uses. Nitrile gloves are gloves made of composite nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) through production and processing. It is a chemical substance that is fused and derived according to different molecular structures. In the case of nitrile rubber, scientists fuse butadiene and acrylonitrile according to the process of convergence. This molecular structure gives the glove its properties: acrylonitrile boosts acids, while butadiene creates coordination and tear resistance.

In order to avoid the deviation of the application of rubber gloves and improve the application comfort, the anti-cutting gloves have been dipped in the palm of the hand. According to the different colloidal solutions of polypropylene filaments, they are divided into three types: natural latex, nitrile and polyurethane.

Among them, the colloidal solution of the polyurethane material rubber gloves is relatively thin, and is generally used for horticultural planting and electronic industry with correspondingly higher sensitivity requirements; the colloidal solutions of rubber gloves and nitrile gloves are relatively thick, and the rubber gloves have stronger anti-skid properties on the ground and nitrile-butadiene gloves. The glove has stronger oil stain resistance and is suitable for machining and manufacturing, logistics handling, petrochemical plant work, etc.
